Plectra – Ghosting

by admin on August 25, 2016

This I know is a debatable subject but I like to be able to very accurately ghost all my plectra to the string adding just a fine degree of length to the plectrum as I proceed towards the bass to allow for the diameter increase in the string. I like to have the plectra under the string consistent so string diameter has to be taken into consideration. Yes of course small spacers can be used and indeed I did so years ago, but I now choose to have capstan adjusters at both ends of the guides. Arguably that could be considered over the top but it does give you refinement.
